I had to wait for the MAF adapter to come which was delayed because of the snow. It was a tight fit with the C&L 9 inch cone but i got it to work.

i would send the tube out to you but im low on cash right now. i dont have a job at the moment and i just got finished ordering my transmission parts to get the car running again :( Im going to see if i can get some sheet metal tomorrow and cut it right to fit it in for the ice box. it sucks when your 17 and you want to do so much to your car but you dont have the money too lol.

They don't have them ... You can make one yourself but you will still get some heat.

I have a piece of sheet metal @ home, how did you do that? What rubber molding did you use & where did you hold the sheet metal to?

Tell me about it, 13 months and counting since laid-off......and 45+ job apps but no job yet.

& here I was thinking I'm the only one on this forum that's unemployed. It's been 6 months for me & I'm about to cut my veins. I'm about to loose my roof & it's why my Mark's been sitting for over 4 months now.

Honestly if it wasnt for going to school full time, i dont think my wife and i would have made it. Ive been using some of my student loans to pay off things so we are to the point my wifes paychecks will cover all the bills with a hundred or two left over each month. Oh and that 13 months was with no unemployment but we did have to file bankruptcy.

I'm in the same boat J, but I'm using what's left of my severance pay to keep things going. I got laid off in Nov. I'm only in school part time though. I think the worst thing for us is health insurance. She's pregnant so she had to get on her work's health plan. But it's $900 a month for a family so me & my daughter bought temporary insurance. It's only for worst case issues but it aint cheap. If we get on her plan, we can't pay the bills, but we still make too much to qualify for the state insurance! I hate the whole situation. I hated my job, but I miss the security that came with it. Best of luck to you & SVT.

Damn man that sucks, best of luck to you and yours. I just had to remember something that never made sense to me before "What doesnt kill you only makes you stronger". I never thought i could ever have anything without credit cards and loans intill now, we watch what we spend and its a damn good feeling to look at everything we have and say its ours and we payed cash for it.

I used fiberglass to a piece of cardboard then painted it to match the car. The trim is from a piece of molding I had from a car I parted out.

I also had tried what Jamie is showing but if you ever get stuck in heavy rain you could suck up some water. But I was using a 9" cone filter maybe a shorter one wouldn't hang down as far. My 9" Air Filter reached all the way to the bumper.

screw the box make it go under the car like mine, then its cold air!
