It's a 94 with 141K. Chipped, geared, and shift kit. Needs the speedo gear fixed and I can't get the headlights to work, but it's a Cali car with ZERO rust anywhere and that is pretty much impossible to find around here. The color is growing on me.

Cool beans. Looks sweet I like that color alot. Came with some goodies too. You mind saying what you paid? Good luck with her and enjoy.

Lol I just posted this on craigslist about a week ago..just texted the guy a couple days ago to see how many miles were on it..it looked like a clean ass car from his pics..and I bet you got a good deal on it cause it was listed for just over $2k. I like the color, don't see many around. What gear did he put in it?

Good find there and the color is real nice.Welcome to crazy town.

I paid $2K. I honestly did not expect to buy it given I didn't much care for the color and absolutely hate gray interior, but as soon as I pulled up and saw the brand new looking wheels, then peeked underneath and saw how clean it was, I just couldn't refuse.

MY Craigslist adventures with these have been horrible. Too many "good" looking photos only to find an overpriced bucket that people would not deal on. I was sure this was going to be the same, but I got lucky for once.

I don't know what gears are in it. I am guessing 4:10s. I was doing 62mph while the speedo read 80. The previous owner installed them and this guy wasn't sure what they were. I need to do a full detail on her and gets the lights working and I'll post some good photos.

This thing would look sick with some lsc lenses and chrome cobras/speedstars. Wonder how it would look converted to an lsc..hmm

I took some undercarriage pics.

Already had my first D'oh moment also. The hood wouldn't shut, so I slammed the hell out of it. Finally realized the latch spring was stuck open. Anyways, apparently I broke the lamps when I did this, turned on the lights to check them and they didn't work. Pulled the lamps out and they looked fine, but no voltage on low or high beam. SO I tear the switch out and meter it and all is well, so I go back to the lights and I realize there is a separate lamp for the high and low beam. Remove the low beams and they are toast. It never occurred to me the high beams would not work without the low beams. So I tore the switch out for nothing. Oh well. It was an easy 10 minutes.

I scrapped one that same colour...it was rough

that colour could be manageable with some nice rims...tinted windows and lowered

good clean mark viii's are getting hard to find especially in the rust belt and north of the border

Thanks for those pics. I see some lower door seals that my car is missing. Your car is CLEAN.

keep it on air as long as you can.... love my air ride... get the LSC housings for that car.... May be Pricey but it will be worth it...

What's up with the mile high stance btw? Is it not venting properly? Mine was never this high when I had air ride and I never sensor lowered it.

No idea, I haven't messed with it at all yet. I have to do some searching to find out where all the components and everything is.

I spent all night last night looking for new headlights and holy crap, found nothing but HID kits. You figure someone would have repopped the housings by now.

Beautiful car! Welcome, as someone previously said, to our wacky world! We do love our cars very much. :D
