Few new shots of the Aqua Blue.

Oversimplified, but yeah, that's about it.

Wash (includes pretreatments like bug& tar remover, citrus degreaser, etc.)
IPA wipedown
Clay
IPA wipedown
Tape (tape off all badges, trim, etc. anything that's not paint)
Polish (this is the meat and potatoes of detailing. This is where you actually remove the paint imperfections. This step also takes the longest. About 6 hours per trip around the car)
IPA wipedown
Glaze
Sealant Wax
Beer

Pete, I don't know what your rate is, but it ain't enough!! Either my paint was in much worse shape than I thought, or I just don't have a powerful enough polish! This is HARD WORK!! I've been putting serious pressure down on speed 6! In any case, at least I know I can paint over the chips and scratches, wet sand with 2000 grit paper, polish over and have the defect disappear.

Now back to our regularly scheduled topic.......

Thanks bears... Local guy here coped out on selling me those 20's I was gunning for and now a different guy has these vulcans for sale. around $500 without tires.. We shall see what kind of condition they are in!

Artur, i don't think i have seen pics of your LS with the HIDs on. It's a good excuse to take some more pictures and add them on to this thread or make another one....whatever works for you.
Plus, you will get to know your camera even more........let me know if this sales pitch works.
