There are a few indispensable products you should have for after washing:
Clay Bar (I personally use Bilt Hamber Soft clay, but it has to be ordered from the UK -
www.carnaubawaxshop.com)
Glaze - Chemical Guy's EZ Creme Glaze. This works to fill in some light swirl marks. About the best you can do without using a buffer to mechanically remove swirls.
Sealant - This is a synthetic wax. It offers more durable protection than wax, but can leave the surface looking "sterile" - I personally use Blackfire Wet Diamond or Collinite 845 Insulator wax. Collinite will get you 6 months of protection from 1 coat. Blackfire will net you about 4 months. I think the Blackfire looks slightly better, but it's twice the price.
Wax - I am a wax fanatic. On my LS, I rarely use a sealant. To me, sealants are for durability only, and waxes are for the looks (although the Blackfire looks awesome by itself). Among my favorites right now for wax: Lusso Oro, Dodo Juice Austintacious, Dodo Juice Supernatural, Rubbish Boy's Original Edition, and Victoria Red.
As far as bang for your buck, you cannot beat CG EZ Cremem Glaze, then Collinite 845, then Lusso oro over the top of it.
You should also get a quick detail spray. CG Speed wipe is supposed to be nice. I use Finish Kare 425. About 35 shipped per gallon.
