has anyone found anything cool to do with this option??? intergrade a new phone with it or something?? also, what the hell is that rj45 port on there for? the one that looks like an ethernet port???

Only 1 or two people have messed with the buttons and tried doing different things with them to work with current cell phones and bluetooth but I never heard any good coming out of anything. The port is where the phone plugged in at.

My wife's '97 LSC still has the phone. But it has no signal. I suppose whatever type of system that was in use at that time has been changed. I wonder if the phone could be reactivated? Has anyone tried that?

Old style analog Phones.....make great paperweight.

I kept all my orig phone stuff, the phones, cradle, cord, antenna and books
just to pass on at sale time.

I supppose you could plug it in and pretend its a CB microphone when you pass truckers on the interstate....

Turn it into a garage door opener:shifty: Wait our cars already have those built in. Keep it with the car if you ever plan on it being a collector. If not send it to me.

You can still use them to call 911 I've heard (I've also heard it depends on which state your in, so dunno the whole truth)...

When I'm done with a Mark VIII nobody get it ... LOL ... so I sold all my phone stuff on eBay ... as I remember I got pretty good money for it back in 2007

Cell phones new and old can be traced fairly easily, but not all areas have the ability to do it...
