yea i hear engine noise through my rear deck speakers.
i also hear a motor noise through them when the wipers are one, when i move my seat, unplug my ipod from the radio, anything that uses power can be heard over the speakers.

i think its the amp or something.

any ideas

Do you have an after market amp? It's most likely the RCA cables picking up noise from the Altinater. You need RCAs with good insolation that will filter out the electronic frequency noises from the environment.
Upgrade your wires. That should eliminate the noise.

Yea i am assuming stock system too as he mentions the rear deck speakers.

Take off the top of the trunk cover and investigate the amps ground. The amp is the box centered in the middle of the deck lid with little fins around it. If you have NAV, the NAV box is to the left of it when looking into the trunk.

If it looks good, maybe scrape some paint off where it is grounded and re-attatch. couldn't hurt.

why you such a dick frogman it was just a question.

Capitalization. Learn it.

As to why I'm being "such a dick"... so telling someone how it is, makes me a dick? Sorry, I haven't been through the the for women only sensitivity training class you attended.

You got a problem with that? You do? Too bad. Learn to live with it.

+1 on the grounding. the rear amp uses low-level inputs - so it makes a mess of any noise coming in.

I had the same problem and the dealer ran onther ground wire from the amp. This cured the problem.
