Engine Cover Painting

I attempted to repaint my engine cover because some of the black paint had chipped off but it looked like crap so I decided to remove all the black paint and just paint the Lincoln star and "V8" black. It turned out ok, looks better than before anyways.

I paint mine too. Just decided to go all out on it. Shaved the "Lincoln V8" off of it and the raise stripes from the center. painted, cleared, then pinstriped it.

Want a heart attack, go check and see what those are worth at the stealers.
I told them, they could keep them for that price.

there are several places that sell them in boxes for much less but they are a little on the "over priced" side.

I saw some on ebay recently for next to nothing. May want to look there and see if any are listed.
