Door Pillar Finger Prints That Want Go Away

It don't matter how much i wipe them they just won't go away HELP!

they suck, i recommend you paint them black and polish them, you wont have that grease anymore

I was thinking about about chrome If i couldn't save them.. It looks real ugly after i wash it. Makes the car look dirty

on basically all cars, the material they use soaks up grease and makes streaks, you can go chrome or paint them, you can take them off to paint

If you plan on getting it detailed (since in a previous post you said it needs it) I'd see what it turns out like before doing anything. If that doesn't take care if the prints you can cover them, or paint them.

Use a cleaner wax on them and see if it helps. That usually works for mine. I admit that the engineers messed this up when they designed the car. They should have noticed how badly that finish gets marked up and gone with something else. Pektel will probably have some better ideas and or product suggestions.

I think the Gen2 has these paints. I looked at mine today and it is just like the paint finish.

I've noticed on my car as well since I have a black car. I always wondered how to get the stains and marks out but didn't worry to much about it since I am going to get the painted when I paint the car.
