Thinking about debadging the tail lights. I did a crappy job in MS paint to try to show what it would look like without them. I downsized that pic to hide the chop job.

Tell me what you think. I'm afraid it may look too plain.

yeah, yeah, I blacked out the plate in one pic, and not the other. Don't really care about the plate number issue, just thought it detracted from what I wanted the attention to be on.

Your car is so clean that I think debadging will just help with the overall look. Roll with it for a while and if you really don't like it you can always put them back on.

+1 on what he said..i took mine off and haven't thought about putting them back on ever

How the hell are people supposed to know what your car is then?

They lok at it and say, ohhhh sexy shiny I want one! Then they look and say, damn them! NO BADGES

I like my badges, but that's just my thoughts.

I wonder how one would go about reattaching these if he didn't like the look...

I like people to know it's an LS. But it does look pretty clean without them. I think it is because the badges are on the taillights.

People need to see our nice LS's (compared to others who don't care) and know what they are when they see them!

For those who are not a fan of removing the badges, you do know it says LS on the front fenders. I think Lincoln just chose a bad place to put the badges in the first place.

I want to pull those too. The gen 2's do not have the LS in that body moulding. I would get the gen 2 body moulding pieces, and have them painted. I think it would look dumb just pulling the emblems from that recessed area.

Mine doesnt have any badging on it besides the tail lights... may be an LSE thing though. I didnt get any of those CHEAP-O ls's with excess stuff on it :P haha

For some reason I think it looks better with them. I think I'm going nuts, because normally I like debadged cars.

I go back and forth on whether or not I'm going to completely debadge my LS when she finally gets painted. In your car's case with everything color matched the chrome kind of adds a nice touch to it.
