On a side note I noticed last night that only one of my fogs was working. Tried multiple times and the passenger side wouldn't even flicker. I have had no problems whatsoever out of the kit i have been running in my fogs for about 2 years now. But we have had an unbelievable amount of rain lately and I am wondering if maybe that side got wet somehow...

Anyway it looks like I will be picking up a second set from DDM.

Alax7 did you originally have the 4500K in the fogs with the OEM HID? Or do you have any pics of the 5000K compared to the OEM HID?

I am keeping my stock lowbeams. I pulled the MKX out next to the LS at night to compare the color of the DDM 4500K and the stock HID on the LS and since the MKX has projector beams it is a little difficult to compare them evenly.

Just FYI DDM has the $30 raptor HID kit in stock again.

Thanks jolinc01, I'll probably go with the slim kit though since I am going to mount the ballasts higher/tucked away this time around.

I dont have pics comparing oem to 5k, but I do have one with 4500k in the low beams. For some reason, they were more blue than 5k so I took them off. I thought maybe they sent me 6k but the bulb said 4500k.

That's strange Alax7...

Something like that happened to 05LS8 too. I would really like to see the 4500K compared to the 5000K compared to OEM but I will probably just break down and pick up another set of the 4500k. My 4500K are not blue once they warm up.

They are close enough to OEM for me, especially the newer OEM HIDs on cars.

Thanks Alax, I'm going to go with 5k. I like the look of them with the LED fogs.
