I know i have mentioned this before. I go every year and have a great time. Thanks giving weekend at daytona international race way . It would be great to see some other mark viii owners there .
 
Im trying to get the car done in time but it isnt looking
very promising right now.regardless if its done or not i will
be there.:D

Lol hi Jamie! been busy with projects.finally finished them up now im back on the car again.but i dont think it will be done for the turkey run.redoing the whole car,sanding,grinding,welding,priming!! never ends.
 
I have been there a few times when I lived in Daytona, great show but I though it was 1975 or older? it was nice to see all the cool cars cruzin up and down A1A.
 
my son was diagnosed with pneumonia this past monday and spent 2 days in the hospital with him, now this whole week i have been sick as a dog and havent been out of the house in days i havent been this sick in a long time. this whole weekend looks like its shot unless a miracle happens! i would like to go to the turkey run just for something to do.

i hate it when kids get sick,you feel so helpless.i ordered my paint last night.fixed the rear spoiler where a fat guy leaned on it and slit it and started rusting.anyway..doing alot of body work.i will have my car there either in paint or primer.if you need a place to stay i have 2 extra rooms,wife sent the kids back to missouri for school, long story,but cant wait for christmas to see them again.

can register as a club but I'm sure the cutoff has passed. we could meet somewhere drive over as a group.that would be good.
 
we could actually show our marks? or is there a year cut off? and how much is it to park our car in the show?

Like the impala ss and fiero clubs. I think the cutoff has passsed but we should check it out and get it together for next year.google search daytona turkey rod run.we can show up that impala club
 
yeah right, i have tried so many times to get everyone in florida together and only a handful of us are ever serious, you'll never get a large group of floridians together who own marks. aint enuff interest.
 
why dont we all try to just meet up there in Daytona and start to see who will show
i will its not to far from any of us is it?

Years ago the Turkey Rod Run was the best. For a car guy, it was Heaven! I went year before last and inside the speedway was great...as always, but that night there were "0" cars cruizing up & down A1A. I was so disappointed and worst yet, so was my 8 year old son....seeing how I hyped it up so much and all. If you haven't been there in awhile, don't get your hopes up.
