everytime i start the car up . there is a clicking noise that comes from the passenger side rear shock area. I put new monroe sensa-tracs new. ??

Is it a 93 or 94? Those had actuators on the rear shocks which adjusted them based on driving conditions (soft while cruising, firm during hard cornering/braking/acceleration).

The actuators are controlled by relays located in the plastic tray at the top of the trunk, just behind the rear seatback. The suspension computer cycles them shortly after startup, probably as a self-test procedure. I sometimes noticed them clicking on my '93. It's 100% normal and harmless.

its a 94'. When i replaced the shocks. When i did that . on the old shocks there was , what looked like a lil spring. I took those off both sides. The clicking is there. I wanna stop that clicking altogether! What should be done?

is there anyway to eliminate these noises completely? Removing the relay?

What/how exactly did these actuators adjust? The old shocks from my 94 are long gone, but it didn't seem like there was anything on the top but a normal stud.

I have a 93 and installed what you did and just taped up the sensors and left them there and I don't hear anything when I start the car

They adjust the valving in the shock to provide a counter-measure to the front end dive that happens when you hit the brakes.

Okay, but how do they do the adjusting when IIRC they just attach to a normal stud on top of the shock? Did I miss something?

These are the pieces that came off the tops of the rear shocks.
Im gonna try and disconnect the SDC module and see if that elminates the clickin'
