The ABS warning light has come on my Mark. No big deal or anything. But, this affects my Traction Control too?

EDIT: I was thinking of someone else. My bad.

Wheel sensor would be what I would check first. Fronts get pretty dirty and rears are known to fail. Both could cause ABS and TC problems. Have you had the ABS scaned?

NM, so sorry. Was thinking of a different person. Completely my bad.

LOL You guys seemed jumbled. But I'm gonna take a look at everything, like you said the sensors may be out or dirty or bad, but yeah the ABS light goes on and then my Traction Control turns off and I can't turn it back on. sounds like sensor. Don't think anything is broken.

On the (BOB) 94 I used to have, the ABS light would always come on when I hit 20 mph. It would remain on until I shut the car off. Next start, I could drive 15, 16, 17, 18 mph and the light would not come on but right when I hit 20, it would pop on. I drove it like that for 5 years. I didn't have TC but the light never bothered me. I checked the sensors and cleaned all 4 but one was bad. Honestly, even if I had TC in the 94 or the current 95, I would never use it.

Not suggesting that you don't fix yours but just letting you know that mine done just fine for 5 years without replacing the bad sensor. I could have removed the bulb and never known it.

yeah like I said before, It's not a huge problem for me, minor fix and can be taken care of at a later time, I just thought it was weird the TL turned off as well when the light came on. And it seems the same problem, I can coast ata slow speed and its fine, when I speed up it comes on lol
