Does anyone know the part numbers on flex chrome for the trim for a base 93-96. I've searched the forum posts and got a few numbers that other posters had posted but they had said they were gonna try it but they had not said anything back on the post saying it had worked. The Numbers i found were : HR069C For the back and front bumpers, and HR018C for the sides/doors.
Is there a difference between the side chrome and the bumper chrome?
Can anyone confirm the part numbers that it worked for them?
do you have other part numbers that worked?

You can buy flex chrome at Autozone or Advanced Autoparts.

No I'm talking about flexchrome.com i have seen many users that have used the product from there site was wondering if anyone has used it and knows the Flexchrome part numbers they used or if they match the ones I gave.

Yes those are some of the posts I found seems like the sides are the HR018C. I had my bumpers repainted and the rear chrome is now gone so ill have to go to a junk yard and pull a piece to see if the measurements are the same as the sides or if they match some of the measurements on there site. I contacted the company yesterday and they are located I MI so I was gonna drive up there since its not that far and the guy that helped me said he would see if he could match something up.

I'm not positive on the diameter but I would assume that it is. If it's not, it couldn't be off enough to notice any significant change, if that makes any sense. When you remove the chrome from the sides, you have a fairly deep slot there, just like you have on your bumper(s).

You want to use the proper chrome for the bumpers from either Flexchrome or FoMoCo (that's where i got mine from about a year ago). If you use the Autozone chrome in the bumpers it will sit very deep into the channel and the holes on the side where the chrome passes through will still be very big. Basically the bumper chrome is taller than the doors. Now, the door chrome is pretty shallow. The bumper chrome, If used in the doors will not fit. I used the same stuff that GMAN posted for the door moldings.

What would you say the thickness difference is between the doors and bumper? From the stick on surface to the outer chrome side.

Back bumper strip -Part # ECL-261 120" length.

Front bumber strip 45"

Door trim 55"

Quarter panel trim 15"

Don't forget to allow 1/2 on each side to stick in the holes on each end of the bumper

For the side strips - Part # ECL-262

I cannot Find the stock bumper insert replacements or i would buy them and use the flew chrome for the sides. Anyone have any Fomoco inserts or know of any?

There is no need to be precise with stuff like flex chrome, since the dealer no longer carries these parts. I used the chrome stick on stuff and it looked just fine.

The stuff that Autozone/Advanced Auto is not cheap. It's 3m for crying out loud. It's the same stuff tha manufacturers use just in smaller quanties.

The factory bumper chrome is triangular in shape, where as the door trim is fairly flat and low profile.

I noticed that when I took the chrome out of the rear bumper to replace it. I was planning to put something under the new molding to bring it out to were it should be. What did you do Dan ???
