I have a new track lock 8.8 for my 98 lsc, I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for hat brand gear oil and should I go whith synthetic? Sorry about my short hand, I am excited about fixing my car

When I did mine I wanted Mobil1 but everyone around was out or didn't carry it. I believe I ended up using Lucas and a bottle of FRPP friction modifier.

Basically it don't matter a whole lot. Don't buy the cheap stuff. Buy synthetic and try to find one that has friction modifier in it already.
