center console/radio wood grain surround?

Where can I find that piece? Is the dealer the only place? I don't like the cheap looking stuff on ebay. And will the earlier year wood grains fit in an 06?

1st gen is fake wood, 2nd gen is real American walnut, no the center dash are different.

Yes, I've taken a few pieces off to look and its real.

Yes, but some much easier than others.

They are on second gens. I've taken mine off and wrapped them in black vinyl. Didn't like the look so its off now.

all the dash pieces just pop off, they are held in with pressure clips.



never took any of the door pieces off, sorry

To take the door pieces off you need to remove the door panels. On the backside there is some nuts that hold them in place.

I wouldn't mind trying black. The piano black base trim seems to be plentiful on ebay. Being on the base I doubt any had adjustable pedals though. I think a black/dark wood would look classy.
