Can't See Where I've Been!!!

So, come out the other morning and found this. Totally out of the blue. I know if the seal around it separates, this is what happens, but I had looked in it as I got out of the car the night before. Then the next morning it was like this. The only thing that was out of the norm, it had been extremely humid that night.

Anyway, I have an older style mirror that is in perfect condition and was wondering if anyone might have my year style that they might want to trade? I would pay for all shipping or one someone would give me a deal on.

Sense were on this, how many different type of mirrors did the Mark VIII's have? The one that is broken is from my 96' and the one I have that's good is out of a 94' I'm pretty sure. Just curious.

You can have my old one for shipping. It has the proper plug. I replaced mine with a 2004 Lincoln LS mirror that had the built in compass. Same wiring plug and everything works great (autodimming and the compass).

You will need to use your clip thingy though from your old mirror. But again, its free for price of shipping.

That was K9 that said to keep looking ahead but check the junk yards for an LS mirror if you have one around you. Next time I go, I'm gonna see if I can find one with the compass built in.

Was I right about seeing pain pills in the pic? :D
 
Yea, I knew it was K9. I put the sentence together to refer to both of you. Unfortunately, yes they are, I went through stage 4 throat cancer. They gave me a year or two at the time I was diagnosed, this last April was my sixth year!!!! I have to take them everyday, it really kinda sucks!!! But it bets the hell out of the alternative. That's quite a set of eyeballs you've got!!!


I'll be keeping my eye out for a 04 mirror as well

lol, I can spot them anywhere. Sorry to hear about the throat cancer though. Hate to hear that. That just makes me wanna quit smoking even more now. I'm down to around 5 to 8 a day but used to smoke 2 packs a day a few years ago.
 
The smoking is definitely something to quit if you can, but there are other things too, one very important one is stress!! It's a KILLER!! I've lost 4 friends sense the day I was diagnosed, all between 40 & 50 years old, perfect health. My point is, you don't know what tomorrow is going to bring your way. You really need to keep that in mind when you get pissed at something or someone. Let the little sh!t go and make the most of each day!! I know that's kind of the company line statement, but it's so much, the truth!!!
