Building braces

Started making braces for the 96 tonight.

The IRS brace is done, just needs painted and pick up the hardware.

Start on the fronts tomorrow... Might try something a bit different.

Yeah, I'll be building extra sets. I bought a couple sticks of 1x1 and 1x2 tube and misc plate.

Tube is .120 wall, plate is .1875 thick.

And I forgot. The trim piece arrived in great shape! Thanks again.

Right side is finished welded and fitted. Now to mirror it for the left side and paint.

Front bracing finished..

After a quick drive, the front feels much improved, the rear seems firmer especially during shifts.

Yes, for those interested, I can make additional brace sets, let me work up a price.

When did the drop-down version of the rear torsion brace become so popular?

I have the slim-line version.

Well now having a couple hundred miles with them, I can say the car feels much better. All though, the CD player isn't so happy.. :lol:

Yes they should.

Front long braces (three point attachment, rear bracket will need welded to subframe) $175 plus ship.

This is how johnny L started and after awhile he didn't likthe fact that a lot of guy didn't like his prices cause he spend a lot of free time doing them. Better get started on building a lot of them ide rather just have front and rear shock tower braces and bigger sway bars
