Broken seat lumbar

My seat lumbar on the 96 has a hole in the line and Im just considering replacing the damaged line and lumbar bladder with one of these. Thoughts?

If it's in the line and not the bladder, just throw some tape wraps around the hole and call it good.


Or am I missing something?

Chris, if you need another one that works, let me know. I have two seats that I'm removing the tracks from and then they're being trashed. If I have to cut the seat open from the back or w/e, I can do it because I could care less about those seats. All I know is they came out of my car and they have excellent strong motors and I am going to swap them onto my black seats sometime soon. They are lite graphite and as far as the leather, it's hard and cracked.

This is what it did look like.

Let me know if you want me to snatch that stuff out of the seats. You can have both of them, if I can get them out without ruining the lines or bladders.

tried that last year, didnt hold. I used an air line splice, rubber cement, and tape and it didnt hold, so on 2 plan b.

Ive got a seat that came out of the vert to tear apart but thought this may be a better option.
