bmw guy building a m8 tennessee

Wow!

Once you've learned to communicate via writing, I'm sure that we'd be more than happy to help you.

Unfortunately, it's so damn difficult to try and read what you've scribbled, that you're not likely to get any usefull answers.

Try short controlled bursts from your machine gun, you're much more likely to hit the target, then just spraying bullets everywhere. ;)

I make spring perches for the conversion, which you can see HERE, or would have found by yourself if you'd used the search function at the top of the page.

Wow I think Laser has found his competition when it comes to being the class clown :D

DLF Vs LaserSVT....who will win?

got part one

i just payed $35 for the rear pearches and one set of spring bushings (for lack of better term) getting the other bushings for $10

hmm $35 for steel or $300 for some made at home plastic hmmmm lets do the math mmmmm FAIL!!!

just kidding u burned me i had to burn you back.
your stuff seems to be good stuff. the ones you make will be put on my car when i do your irs stuff. and traklok. ive just gotta drive this car for 200-300 mi before i start spending thousands on it.

road boss thank you for the links they will be helpfull. but if you think squishey a** air bags are the best road course suspension then well. why dont we see f1 fia lemans or any other touring leage out there running it. i do agree it provides a better ride quality. i would put $1000 says when i am finished with this car it will pull more g's on a skid pad than any air ride mark viii out there. (with the same tire setup) and i will have a gtech pro to prove it. that was not ment to be harsh or anything but really air bags on a road course really?

and yes i fight with a green light saber thank you

hey i saw the adjustable tokiko's anyone with experence on these cars had a friend with that ebay set on an e30 he said it sucked to soft. but the bmw guys dont mind kidney pain they like it rough. lol

No problem, I completely understand. As it says in the For Sale post, my perches are an "expensive"; "elegant solution, for those that want the best", and after all, you're from TN. :D

Seriously, there are many ways to get the job done, and I hope what you bought works for you, but I'm willing to bet that you'll have ride height issues.

p.s. Be careful about your wager. I still have the air ride, and Koni's, and quite a few other suspension mods, you might very well lose. ;)

i really did not want to post this as i dont want anybody to bid it up. but dlf has been helping me so much i wanted to know your opinion
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/97-T...r_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item414e16a1bb
i like the shocks i may go with them even if i dont buy his stuff i can get thoes blues for like 250 or 280. but i am scared of thoes springs kinda sounds like junk

if i go 2'' drop i am deff going 1 3/8 addco front and rear

and then i may only be able to fit like 18s in the rear. but i guess 17s f and 18s r wouldnt look bad but i kinda liked the idea of 19"front and 20"rear. a good stance, stagered set of clean 5 spoke rims with a big lip in the back will set this car off.

and yes born and raised tennessee home of bailing wire fix it all and the saying if you cant duck it fu:eek:k it. but there are alot of very nice cars here. delk performance is right down the street from me and the mustangs 50th annv. was here. the first ever hot rod power tours final destination was nashville. and all your powerblock tv shows are filmed right here in cashville. so if you think all we have is country music think agian.... but we do have that whole music thing to. :p
agian thank you for helping me with the info so far. dlf you burned me fairly hard on this thread and have been alot of help on my other one so your cool in my book thanks

yeah yeah yeah

i like that vid looks like fun
god i want trak loc.

you can see what i bought by going to my suspension thread i will be updating it daily and posting detailed pics of the suspension build process

and just cause we got leather, onboard computer, cruise, jbl, and a 95 lb. wireing harness dosent mean we cant dust there asses.

these cars are sleepers

road boss ive seen pics and you can dust there asses in a straight line fo sho. i want it at least be able to keep up with a hot blonde in a vette in the twisties and then let her see why i have the back seat. lol
