Ok Ive heard alot of talk about the blend door going out on the Mark. I think mine has done it. I got into my car today and no air was coming out of the vents. But I have cold air coming out of my defroster vent and some coming out of the floor vent. If this is the blend door how do I get to it and how do I find out for sure that this is the problem?

Pretty sure that's from a vacuum leak, you might search it for the
the common line that leaks.
Gen IIs have the blend door problem.

definatly check vacuum lines, my 94 did the same, just a popped off hose

Whats the eastest way to get to the vacuum lines and things for the Mark? I know every car has them in diffrent places.

Pull the bezel off from around your EATC unit and you will see 4 torque screws holding it in place. Pull the EATC out and check to see if the colored hoses are all connected on the back. One could have come loose from there but also somewhere else too. With the control unit out, you'll see what direction the hoses are running. Be easy with the bezel when pulling it. It's 16 years old and brittle where it snaps in place.

Ya already encountered the brittle thing... I will check there but when I put a new one in the hoses were all connected to one molded connector. But it is a good place to start. Thanks

thats a first gen thing what you had happen, blend doors are a 2nd gen thing, the first gens almost never need a blend door motor changed, its a different design.
