was going to go with blacks to go with the black and white look. tinted windows, tinted tail lights and black rims would look sick.

though ive never had black rims so im not sure, i dont want to get them then hate them =\

but chrome is always bling bling. but then again if its not huge chromes then why bother.

I'm rather fond of my 16 inches of chrome

you could always photoshop both colors and see what you think

nice ride and very good post i was wondering the same thing like either a clear coat black or matte black with red painted calipers. Question what size are those rims ? and did lower your car?

yes its lowered, and those are twenties, i dont have them on anymore, have stocks trying to decide what to get next

i don't like the black speedstars on white cars, but i wouldn't have bought speedstars to begin with. but yeah, whatever floats your boat.

DAMN IT CHRIS THAT DIDNT MAKE THINGS EASIER

MMM I WANT BLACKS AND IM GOING TO PAINT CALIPERS WHITE

I DGAF IF I HAVE TO CLEAN THEM EVERYDAY

You have a nice Mark BTW.

Either would look nice. Black would look good with all the mods
mentioned above.

Black Speedstars on white gives it a more Euro-high performance look but
you've got to color-match the trim or blackout all the chrome to pull it off nicely.

Like this Porsche as an example.

Or this Bentley.

Chrome speedstars would give it more of a
Concourse (Competitve Show) look.

Photoshop help....... anyone?

Chrome. I don't like black ss's, not even on Jamies old one. They appear bland to me and have very little seperation in the wheelwell. The chrome ones are a little more money but well worth the price imho.

Chrome Junk Yard Dogs...Speed Stars are everywhere...be a little more unique!

I say go with black I already tried this once and loved the results! I have a set of black saleens on the way now for my white 97!

Dude at the end of the day it's all about personal taste! You have a couple of great reference pictures above from a couple cars. In the end, you choose the way you want your car to look. ;)

Good luck! Either way it will look nice!

I think black would look good .
The white mark in the pic above with the black speedstars doesn't look right because the ride height is set really high and possibly the profile of the tires need to be more low they look kind of thick.

But with the right ride height and a slim low profile tire it would look very sporty with black wheels.

Should get chrome..... and a different style. I think these would fit you.

LOL!

I was about to post those, the first two photos with the black rims are me!

How hysterical, I posted those photos in the Saleen rims thread. I personally love them, very original in my opinion. With my dark tints it just looks awesome and it's definitely a head turner. Many many many remarks on the car, still amuses me after two and a half years owning that car how few people know what it is.

I got my rims through SCP and the black paint is very shiny and seems like it could be easily damaged, that being said it also really shows when they get dirty. I try to throw some wax on there when I clean them to help keep them clean XD

Knowing a little about Jackson, he's not a Spent the weekend detailing the car, kind of guy...
This is one reason I don't suggest black.. Black shows dirt so fast

That and the black Saleens are so very hard to keep from getting light scratches/swirl marks. Brake dust is abrasive and if you go to wipe the wheels down once they have light scratches.
