well if the gen 2 looks like a buick then so does a gen 1 they are the same exact body from the firewall back, it takes more than better bigger headlights to say it looks like a buick. i like both gen's, but prefer gen 2. the better seats, more seat foam, the better looking dash and console, the way better headlight housings, the neon tail light and bigger corner tails, all reasons why i prefer the gen 2.

How much does that blend door fix cost?
Or that clock spring?

for me a blend door costs 26 bucks and 80 minutes of my life, a clock spring costs me nothing because i have tons of them, and gen 1's have clock springs too lol. and terry, no the car i sold you isnt worth 500, but thats what i paid for it, you know how much i did to it, but like i said, gen 1's are practically free. cant argue that its the truth just look around at the average price!

I think we all love the Mark VIII, Gen 1 and Gen 2. But we still have our favorite. My fave is the Gen 1 cheep or not when I bought mine I almost got a Gen 2 but the Gen 1 was nicer with lower miles and I like the look for some reason... I still want both! But my Gen 2 hopes are put on hold right now since Im looking for a really nice P71.
