Yep, it is an outrageous deal, especially is the interior is in good shape. He wanted 2 grand for the car before he realized that the engine needed work.

Deals like that never come up anywhere near me. I wouldn't even go look at it, I'd just take the truck and trailer and bring it home. Get the Octi's off it and jerk the trans out, then part the rest. The drivers seat looks a little ragged but it's worth $500 and he's saying best offer. I bet he'd take $400, maybe less.

i passed on the mark this morning. but here are some pictures for any takers. the guy ran it through a flooded street and the motor is full of water. i was hoping for the best but it wasnt in as good shape as i hoped for. the interior was redone hence the baggy leathers. the wiring is everywhere under the dash makeshift. headlights worthless and airshocks gone. the body is in good shape except for the the front over the grille. if it was just the engine then i would but it would be a great project for someone who has more time/ bigger budget.

yeah i had a change of heart ill be loosing my two car garage when i move this winter and i dont like rushing especially when the misses is like "ANOTHER CAAAAAR" in that naggin voice.

You could have pulled the good parts and scrapped the rest for close to what you would have paid, but I can understand not wanting to rebuild it. I wish I had the extra room because that is exactly what I would do.
