I used to work on this car until the current owner passed away about 6 months ago. The wife told me the car was going to a wholesaler and they needed the car to be able to drive a short distance. I went over to get the car running and see if I could get the suspension to come up. Anywho, they need to get about $1500 bux for this car to keep it from going to an auction...

I am tempted to buy this thing, it really is a great car, but I need another M8 like I need a hole in my head.

97 LSC Black/Gray Leather
The paint is near pretty much perfect for a 13y/o car, thats what was so striking about the car was how clean it was. It has been in the garage for the last 6 months, btw. Immaculate 10 spokes with Michelins at abotut 50% tread left. Sunroof. 10 Disk. Heated Seats.

Bad Stuff
1 HID is dead
Driver seat track won't move
Telescoping steering column won't move
The air ride compressor sounds like a box of rocks and the car will not lift in the front.
208k miles, but the car is TIGHT and doesnt feel like it has even 130k on it

The price is what it is, its not my car, but the woman asked me to put it up, because she would hope for it to go to somone that will take good care of it. The headlights are yellowed, but appearance wise the car is amazing. NO RUST I would buy this car, if I had room for another M8.

The car is going to the wholesaler in 2 days, so if someone is interested you need to PM me ASAFP.

Just noticed, some of the pictures make the paint look hazey, the car just has a layer of dust on it.

dan buy it and i will give you back the money, if you say the car is that clean i want it for shari, i'll come up there and fix the air ride and drive it back. i could get the money back to you in about a week and a half if you would be willing i want it.

Hey man, I donno if you got my Missed call on your phone but I was trying to call you as I was standing there looking at this thing this evening. I just want to add that the guy was a smoker, so the car smells a little like smoke and you can see in that pic of the front seat that it looks like some of the wire frame wore through the seat cover. I had also recommended him to do balljoints when I last worked on the car, but they arent making noise yet, the boots just look like crap. The last repair I did on the car was the oil filter adapter housing. For you Jamie, I will talk to Robyn and see what she things about holding the car for you. Also, if its for you I may go back over and ask to drive it around the block a few times to get a really good idea of how the motor runs, but it does have 6 month old fuel in it and the A/C was blowing cold. ALSO, I may see if she will just let me drive it to the dealer and I can spray off the dust and make sure all is well with the paint, but even with the dust on the car it looked awesome. The rear window seal has like 3 ripples in the whole thing, and the car was ALWAYS parked in the garage, there is no mildew around the rear trunk seal between the quarter panels. The rear neon also didnt light up, but it appears to be in really nice shape, no mildew or cracks.

i smoke 2 packs a day i will welcome that smell dan lmao! if you can hold it for me for a week or so i understand but i would never screw you guys over you know that, i just cant come up with 1500 tomorrow, i dont care about the little things if the car runs nice, and looks half way decent, its far better than the 93, the 93 has a date with the bone yard. if it needs minor work i dont care, i'll get the car back here, i'll even come up with a 05 chevy dually and a trailer and tow the car back if i have to.

Another thought Jamie, I will be employed at the Dealer until this time in about 2 weeks, at that time, I am driving down to FL. If you want to maybe send a compressor up, I'll throw the car on a lift and put the compressor in for you before you get here?

Just saw your above post. I will talk with robyn in the morning about all this and I will call the lady and make sure she will go for it. When I drive to FL in 2 weeks it will be in my pal's explorer with my toolbox on the trailer, if we somehow timed it that we both drove back down at the same time, you'd have a chase vehicle with pretty much every tool you would need IF something happened.

that would be sweet man, i'll sell my 93 cheap but i want to pay for that car first before i sell hers so it doesnt go anywhere!

wish these would pop up closer to Ohio, I found my 98 for 1000 but it was not in any condition like that. Good luck with the sale someone will buy it!

I wish stuff like this would pop when I have my income tax check...it's always when I'm broke, which is the rest of the year
