I have two '95 LSC HID headlight assemblies that I want to sell.

Should I throw them on Ebay as a complete assembly (headlights, bulbs, ballasts) or separate the bulbs from the assemblies, essentially throwing the ballasts away, and auctioning them separately?

Still figuring out how to sell them, haven't decided if I want to separate the pieces.

If it were me, the housings would be alone and the ballasts and bulbs together. I would sell the bulbs individual along with it's own ballast. The bulb is where the money is but to help the sale, the ballast coming with it might help. The housings could also be put up separate. If you have bidders and one person has won one side, they might come out of pocket more just to make sure they get it's brother. Make sense?

Personally, I think the BEST way to sell them would be, to me, as a kit,cheap...you may not get what their worth, but you'll sleep better at night having done a good deed...lol

Sell them as complete. I know it's somewhat different, but I saw a mint gen 2 housing with the HID bulb go for over $400 two weeks ago!!

they dont bring what they used to, aftermarket hid's have wrecked the big money on factory hid stuff. the housings will do decent, if the right people look at them. i prefer refurbished halogen housings with 6000k aftermarket hid's for whatever reason they throw off a better pattern and far greater light than the hid housings do. some people love the hid housings just for the clear lense, i love functionality, thats why i prefer halogen housings. good luck with the sale.

I have seen your housings that you redo jamie and they are freakin awesome. That being said I would STILL rather have HID housings. They just look so much more badass. If i had the money id buy them off you right now, but im sure the old lady would bitch if I had 2 spare sets of HID housings lol.

oh i agree chris the hid housings look way better than the halogens, even if you had brand new halogens, i just mean as far as function if you take mint halogens, and mint hid lenses, put them in two cars side by side, and install the same after market hid kit in both sets, the light output from the halogens smokes the hid's i cant figure out why. but hid housings do look wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better on the nose of our cars.

Nah.

I decided to go the simple way and just put the complete assembly up on Ebay.
2 headlights, 2 bulbs, 2 ballasts. Everything is together.

Jamie's right, the market on these parts is shot, I figured I'm selling the lenses and throwing the other parts in for free.

Here's the auction.
They're only up to 150 bucks right now..
