anyone using the HD arnott compressor?

are any of you running the HD arnott air ride compressor?

If so do any of you know if the dryer fitting on the bottom into compressor is the same as the stock one?

I contacted eddie to see if he has a HD comrpessor available at this time. I need a new, reliable, stronger compressor with the spider v3 and asham8.

OR I will be willing to sell the spiderv3 if eddie has the whole new setup available or re use the spider v3 if the dryer can be switched over to the arnott HD comrpessor...just dont know it looks different from thier pics.

Suggestions?
 
The dryer on the arnott compressor appears to be the same as the stock Ford unit.
Heavy Duty is just a word. I don't really know how "Heavy Duty" a compressor can be when it has a "Made in China" sticker on it!
 
Mine had an Airnott compressor when I bought it. It was dead within 6 months, less then a year after the PO installed it.

Bought another stock compressor off ebay, and it lasted about 6 months and just quit the other day. Runs, but no pressure. I can still fill my bags with my home compressor until I buy a new one from Eddie, this week...

I had for awhile, they replaced it under warranty. I have not re installed it. Sounded good, but they claimed moisture got into it? Had a new dryer, I just don't understand.

What is this spider extreme all about.....im very concerned about the reliability of my air ride now that i have the asham 8....my compressor is working well....but im sure its only a matter of time

also is there any plans to make another design of air compressor, ie: adrenaline??
 
My Arnott comp is still working after 2 years, front air over a year now.

That sucks balls. :( I was really looking forward to getting one. I even have 3 extra compressors I was gonna send for parts.

Oh well, guess its time to get a spider valve.
 
Damnit! Seems the Spider is also no longer available.

Thats two important upgrades I wanted now and cant do. No Konis and no Adrenalin pumps. :mad:

Considering the dryer is on the output (pressurized side) of the compressor.....

My spider v3 adds an on-board pressure gauge, a water separator (that you can drain) an bypass option that bypasses the "silencer" on the system and lets out a loud HISS sound as the air is discharged and a manual fill valve.

Being able to drain the water and fill the system manually is key. This is a must have for proper and preventable maintenance for anyone who is keeping the air ride. Im very happy with it and the eddie is great to deal with.

Fear not!

Today, I ordered a compressor from eddie and was speaking to him about what to do about my dryer, since my dryer is no longer stock and has been modified with the setup im running. He said he was working on something and would send me out one of his dryers he has laying around for something hes putting together... It might be something available sooner then you know it. Stay tuned. :cool:
