Been discussing a small production run of custom aluminum evap trays. Was wondering if there would be anyone else interested and if so, what is a reasonable price for one? Looking at pricing for making 5 at the moment.
 
I was gonna have dad make me one but for the right price I'd be interested...
 
I asked this a year or so ago, and there wasn't much interest, surprisingly. I've got all of the tools/equipment to do them myself, too.
 
While I like the idea, I have a good tray for now. For the right price, I may pick one up for future use. :cool:

yea, I know that just by looking at the price of sheet aluminum that its going to be to pricey for most. Thats why I wanted to know what people think is reasonable.
 
great idea but, waste of time. i also have access at work to anything needed to make these but would never consider it. no where near enough demand or interest.
 
I think if you can get the price around $100 you
would sell at least 5 if not 10
much more money and I think it turn into a pipe dream
 
I'm going to call around on Mon for more definite aluminum pricing. I will be making at least one for myself. Mine is just plain gone. I'm not sure there is even enough left for a template. I'm not trying to make a business out of this, or even a big profit. I need one for myself, and if possible help out a few others that need one as badly as I do.
 
How thick of a sheet of aluminum are you looking to make it out of. I've got sheets of 'scrap' at my work that I can do whatever I want with....
