The indicator lights do just that, indicate whether or not that function is being used on climate control.

Literally I believe they are LEDs.

Are you wanting to know what that button is for? If so it the wiper defroster/heater. And I agree with bklene50 and what they do and are.

Yea, it is the wiper heater. I had to look in my owners manual last week to find that out. I guess that also explains the 2 lines in the windshield where the wipers park

That will also light up when you turn on the rear window defroster. As for the price of the front windshield, I had to replace one right after I got my car in Feb of 06, cost came to $392. I had put in a made in USA by Plinkerton.

really? wow, i had mine replaced last winter for about $250, new original equipment and all. I didnt have insurance and the way i understand it is they charge you the same price regardless, but if you have insurance, they max it out, so they could be charging $1000, but you only pay $250 or so. And of course I already have a chip in mine.... stupid semis
