lol..why do people hate when i park like this?. if you lived in yuma arizona we get these people called "SNOW BIRDS" (OLD PEOPLE) who come from around the united states and canada for winter because it warm here, and they dont car about anyone elses car so they will just throw the door open and hit my car you should see the pass side door.

if theres that many open spaces i wouldn't park like that. In my area i park with everyone else and have yet to get a door ding. And i live in a semi-highly populated area.

I never take up multiple spots as thats an invitation for ppl to screw with me, but I do park further away than most.

I've done it, but it's always at the very end of a lot, where most wouldn't even consider to park.

Tell you what. You spend a full week hand pulling and sanding out the dents and then painting your car, then see the reaction YOU have when you come walking out to the parking lot and there's a fresh ding in it.

It's my property, and it doesn't matter if it is 17 or 170 years old, no one else has the right to put dings in it, especially when it takes but the tiniest amount of consideration to avoid it.

I was just kidding about door banging, LOL If my old Mustang was turned the other way thats how i parked it for a year at my apartments......intill i found out people will park as close to you as possable just to be an azzhole to you.

guess my comment didnt go over well..lol.. i guess if there are tons of spots in the back of the lot double parking isnt't a big deal. if you do it with everyone else thats where it would become a problem.

I won't take up multiple spots, but I park waaaaaaay out in the back.

I had a brand new Black 05CTS. Always parked it in the back end of the lot, and drove my kids nuts. They complained every time about having to 'walk so far' to get into the store or whatever.

So we're going to Gettysburg one weekend, and I pull into an eatery. The kids are already mocking me about where I'm going to park, so I say screw it, there's a spot right in front so I park there.

Coming out of the front door after we're done eating, I can see the ding in the side of the car where some mother:q:q:q:qing :q:q:q:q:q:q:q had opened his goddam door into the side of my car.

Never again.....
