Nothing to brag about. I was the only car in my class, street machine 1976-2006. FreeFuller stopped by. He hungout most of the show. We checked out the other cars. He showed me his LS of course. We talked LVC. Nice guy, we plan to attend another show next weekend.

Any St Louis Area LVC people show next weekend in O;Fallon Il the 21st.

That is just pathic judging, I can accept being beat. BUT not by a dirty car.

What do you get for winning? Aside from a trophy, I guess. Do you win money/prizes or is it just a way for car enthusiasts to meet other car enthusiasts?

For me it has been only trophies, but usually best overall car goes home with some cash. sometimes the door prizes are the best thing to win at a show. 45.00 worth of meguiars cleaning supplies. i think thats how you spell it.

I know, i've only said this 10 times but my car is STILL in the shop. I will be in O'fallon next week for sure. Rollin, I saw your car at the St Louis auto show and it is definitely deserving of all the awards. Looking forward to competing against you next week.

i lost to a girls car once.. it was horrible.. not only did she walk to my car and break ALL my mirrors (mistakingly).. but she told the judge that she had the "overall" nicer car.. cause all i have was lambo doors.. she obviously missed the rims, grill, tv's, trunk, ps2, and all the extra's i've put in.. she had the E&G grill and rims.. along with an intake and system.. the only thing she had was the intake.. i had the tv's.. lambo's.. brake upgrade.. and so much more.. but she won.. when i asked the judge he said that there was a mix up and gave me a first place trophy but she still kept hers.. kinda depreciates the value of the trophy u know..

Most shows have attendance prizes. Some of the prizes are GOOD: gift certificates, shirts, hats, etc. The REALLY BIG SHOWS like HIN and DUBS will give out cash with trophies. My sponsor reinburses me for entry fees and pays me for placing at regional and national shows. It is a GOOD way to meet fellow gearheads and car fanatics.
