Over the last couple of months I have just seen many people asking for help/wanted to just buy a pre-made angel eye headlights. I have done my headlights and also a local friends headlights and they are sealed tight as factory.
Just wanted to offer the service to anyone that wants to get theirs done but doesnt want to ruin their headlights, I can also paint the bezel inside whatever color you want. My friend is a manager at a shaheen chev paint repair that ill spray the inside pro. Send me the eyes and headlights and I will get them done in probly a week. Im not tryin to scam anyone outta their stuff or any other bull sh!t I dont have time to do that crap. I have been on the forum for not very long but I have been helped with coils/problems and thought I would offer a service the rest of you guys.
I dont really have a set price but I am sure we can work something out and set a fair price up. PM me if you need any help/directions for installation.. I can take pics or just explain over the phone if you would like too..
Thanks Guys!!

That's not saying much. As most of us know the LS lights were not well sealed at the factory. Not the ones with grey adhesive anyway.

just noticed that the angels eyes you got aren't completely circular like so....

I have only done gen 1's but i know i can do gen two's.. i say that because my foglight that i did were black adhesive and i had to dremel them open. simply baking them like you do the (gen 1 atleast) headlights wouldnt heat them up at all to open them.

And my angel eyes were home made.. I didnt have the ~150 to fork out at the time and I thought it would be a cool project. But honestly the home made ones do not light up as bright in the day. Talking to Sully and hopefully can grab his so I can just swap the blue ones for REAL halo's Haha.

Also I didnt want mine full circle I think they look real mean or kinda evil when they were kinda shaved off at the end. Kind of a personal pref..

But I am pretty sure I can do gen 2's I have pretty good work with a dremel in my hand! Here's some examples I have done with a dremel...

Use to do this a whole lot with xbox's.. all done by hand here at home, still thinking about doing a Lincoln ls one for my car.. Still contemplating..
Thanks again LvC

So if I sent you headlights, and a kit to install... how much for your labor are you charging? (2nd Gen of course)

Thanks pete, I was going to post some of my art work I did just a couple years ago (pencil/paper) but I didnt want to show up your ls artwork idea!! haha J/p bro..

Honestly.. I dont really know how much is a fair price to charge anyone.. Couple people said it was like $500 for lightwurks to do it.. I dunno what that all includes.. I was thinking around $100 for the light install + all the shipping costs, then if you wanted paint I would probly charge another $50 bucks or so because I have to pay my friend to use his autobody paint on the inside..

I honestly dont want to gouge you guys but I mean it does take a good couple of hours. With school full time and work, I will def get them done one the weekend no prob. But does these prices sound about fair? I dont want to undercut anyone but honestly dont know a fair price for both sides, me and the customer..

Input/suggestions are welcome!!

That sound pretty reasonable. For $500 lightwurkz will wire the angel eyes, paint the bezel and put in a clear reflector. I still have the email from two years ago when I contacted them. Like I said earlier, you have some amazing art skills. This what I suggest you do though, if you haven't never done a pair of gen 2 headlights, buy a used one and practice on it. That way you can work with it and know what you will have to do if members start sending them to you. Just some advice I thought I would share.

Yup Yup I was just thinking about ordering a side.. Like I said I am sure I can do it but I just want to make sure it looks pro and is done the correct way. I honestly dont have any $$ right now which is another reason I should do a couple head lights haha. I still need to buy a coolant degas bottle for my car! So if anyone has an extra gen 2 headlight that is broken or has fog problems or something that will sell for cheap/donate for the cause that would be EPIC!

Wow. You are very talented. What state is Lansing located in? That seems like a fair price. You would be saving people about 200+ dollars cause I think lightwurkz charges 300+ just for the installation of the angels eyes on a gen2.

Lansing Michigan, Yeah I mean honestly I would want someone to save me money so why not kinda give back to LVC.. Like I said you guys saved me a couple hundred just from writing up the diagram for coils/vcg.. I asked really noob questions but you guys bared with me and helped so.. I am tryin to return the favor a lil..

I think $100 for installation and $50 for paint is a pretty good deal.. plus paying the shipping costs of course. Also I'll back my work up 100% no bull sh!t'n so if you aren't happy I can refund ya, but give me a chance to correct the mistake. (I would take care of shipping then on)

Also if anyone could.. post of the dif types of headlights.. like gen 1 gen 2 hids, basically all different types if someone can.. I asked one member on here for his "tut on cutting gen 2" just to see how he does them but like I said im pretty sure I can do gen 2's.. Cutting is easy just making sure its sealed tight is key..

Five hundred to be exact. I contacted another company named Lightwerkz. Spelled the same way as Lightwurkz but with an e instead of u. They said $685 for lincoln ls headlights. I was like screw that.

I thought it was 500 with the angel eyes kit included. But if you buy the kit elsewhere or just subtract it from the price, which is about 180-200, then the installation would be about 300ish. Plus you still have to pay for shipping both ways and be without lights or have send them an extra set.

Yeah I accidently went on their page too, but lightwurks was the one that was on here a while ago when they finally got gen2 angels eyes

I'd check with your buddy at the body shop before you set yourself to $50 for painting. It might be more with the cost of supplies and what not. I do agree it's a great idea to help out LVC, and at $150-$200 it's still a good deal.

don't remember it being 500 from lightwurkz, it was like 350 or something for the angel eyes (red for me), install, and tinting the side markers....but I haven't seen the email in months since set back after set back I haven't been able to modd my car any further.

When I get some extra funds in I might just have to take you up on the offer. Question being what is your switch for the angel eyes lighting? is it connected to a different ballast or what? since anything but white in deemed POPO magnet. I don't care about the fact of it lighting up during the day since I find daytime running lights to be overrated and useless but a nighttime car-show style effect would be nice. I would be wanted to get a second set of headlights so I can send them into you or if you end up finding some nearby at a junkyard, or ebay. But we'll see when it all comes to that point. I still needa repair my rear bumper cover
