Goofy ass looking car. There are a few simelar looking cars arround town here.

17 and 18 look good.
20 and 22 looks too big.
And that car looks silly.

Lincoln riding high? hahaha that thing is ridiculous!

HAHAHA WOW yeah i see some cars like that around here but HOLY SH*T not a damn towncar only old ass caddys...but WOW thats just uglyy as hell

That car is so confused. Jacked up high for ground clearance so it can off road like a champ, but low profile tires so it will bend a rim on a pebble. Luxury car chassis and looks like dual (at least) shocks for a tooth chattering ride.

Nice paint job, wonder if they are going to go mudding? Be a shame.

Almost as confusing as a full size 4WD pickup dropped and chopped and riding on skinny weenie tires.

Yup another example of too much money, no taste.

Like I tell my two year old daughter. Poop! I know some people dont like my car, but thats just ugly to everyone except for the owner and a few other high riders.

Just because you can do something, that doesn't mean you should... :yuck:

That is what happens when Leroy from the hills inherits Grandma's car and a sh!t ton of money, LOL
Hell no, that ain't Leroy. If't wuz Leroy, 'at sucker'd have mud grips on 'er! That there car's all citified!

I read an article about these things. Apparently it's a hot new trend in the "Crunk" culture (I'm not making this up, that's what they call themselves) which originated in the south (Hotlanta). They are called "donks" and the goal is to fit the biggest rims possible underneath the car. They typically start out like this but I've seen some with over 100k invested into things like custom Gucci and LV interiors, high end systems, tv's, finished engine bays, and custom trunks. Typically these are done to old school Caprice's, Olds, and Caddy's but it's been extending out to many different vehicles. Lil Jon and Three Six Mafia are cited as some of the founders of the Crunk movement. There's stories of guys running so many electronics that fire extinguishers are a necessity. The whole goal is to pull up in several of these donks and blast the same music at the same time and basically create an impromptu party.

The worst part is that in this subculture, this kind of thing is not only accepted but encouraged.

Well it doesn't surprise me when people will actually pay money for stuff like the toaster scion (what's it called, an xb or ?), Aztec/Rendevous, elements, Avalanches, and Toyota FJ's to name a few.

There will no doubt be a considerable following for these.......things.

I noticed that most of the replys were from northern areas, but "Donks" have been around for years. And if you ever been to a car show, at least in the southern area, this is a basic of a "Donk" as it gets. The idea is to fit the biggest rim on an decent sized american car, mainly chevy's. I guess because I'm from the south this is an everyday occurance. I don't see it being any diferent than someone blowing alot of money on a civic, or an LS for that matter trying to make it faster. Some people go for looks some go for speed. Either way it's a bad investment, cars in general, but whose to say what you can do to your car, as long as your comfortable in it.
