With the car idling and air on,(it's fully charged) the compressor stays on but as soon as you throttle up to like 2000 RPM's the compressor will cycle off and on so when driving you get this surging, bad spark plug or wire feel. Is there a sensor or relay causing this or is something dying in the system? Any help will be greatly appreciated. I did a search but didn't find anything.

It sounds like it may not be fully charged after all. Mine would cycle on and off also, I added about 10 oz of refrigerant and now she's all good. It can still blow cold if undercharged, it will cycle the compressor though once the rpms go up.

I just checked again with one of the cans with gauge and it's in the middle of the blue (25-45) and mine is at 35. I really noticed when I sea foamed the beast Sunday and when I throttled to like 3000 and holding steady the RPM's would drop 500 then back up to the 3000 then back down again so when you are driving the same is happening and feels like TC, engine missing. The tranny was flushed again two weeks ago, of course with Mercon V, new 101 plugs gapped to .048 like 6 month old MSD wires and new 180 degree thermostat. Just wanted to know if there is some kind of sensor, relay, or control box that could cause this sh*t. When the intake was changed a couple of weeks ago when I picked it up the idle was high, like 700 to 800 in drive with the air off, 600 with the air on. Before the blow out plug blew out of the intake my idle would be 600 in drive and like 500 in drive with air on and to me that was perfect now the way it is I feel like there is a strain on the tranny when coming to a stop because the RPM's stay high so it would be hard on the brakes also. Sorry this is so long, still pissed at the shop that did the work and hit my bank account hard, don't want to bring it back because they will break something else.:(
