accident door damage, reskin, repair, or replace?

There currently is a 98 Base in the you pull it, with a door that seemed okay (scraped, but not damaged, the trim might be junk), but with these doors as heavy as they are, and no way I can remove it, from a car up on stacked rims, without dinging a corner or ripping a muscle.

Tire really wore into the side trim!

mainly superficial scrapes to the quarter, but it did get damaged below the trim:

She is in the 07 Vibe (which was a piece, oxidized and missing drivers mirror from recent other scrape (and "excuse" as to why it happened, but she said there is only one turn lane)) 2 cars ahead of me before splitting off into the different lanes, then she is right next to me. Everyone else in front of here in the far right lane get it right and go to the far right, and two cars in front of me someone turns right into the second/middle lane.

They need do away with multiple turn lanes, or put up reflective cement filled steel poles to guide people. We have some 2 into 3 lane, 2 into 4 lane, 3 into 3 lane, and people just don't get it. Most of them have painted lines to guide you, and some of the painted lines shows the 2 into 4 as inside lane getting first two right lanes, but it doesn't matter, the far right person always goes for one of wrong 2 lanes.

Actually the more I watch the video the more I agree with her passenger, I think she was trying to change to the middle lane to get around the slow driving car in front of her, I was easily already traveling forward in the lane, and unless she really diamond off the corner (cut it really close, and across the bike lane) and was still traveling across that late, and the missing drivers side mirror and not thinking anyone would be there could be the case.

I don't think the door in the junk yard will get me much. The front fender was pushed back and front lip is bent.

Just going to submit it to my insurance, possibly bypass them and contact the other persons insurance, and see if I get the same blank stare about finding parts for it.

Please tell me you got a police report? That accident should be covered by her insurance.

They don't send out police unless there is serious injury.

Best I can do is file an accident report with them. Last time I contacted my insurance, but they drug their feet, so I went to the other persons insurance and dealt with them. It wasn't fun, but it eventually got me at least a settlement but not a fixed car. Ended up fixing it myself because I could find the parts, which the body shops failed to do.

plenty of missouri drivers can't handle these intersections either.

Talked to the other drivers insurance, they had already started a claim but not talked to them yet. Progressive estimate is $2044, that is a used door and mirror (I didn't notice it was scuffed...crazy). He didn't look up value to be sure it wasn't a total, but assumed that a low mileage car wouldn't be a total at that.

I tried to be sure the estimate was close, I am not sure he saw the trim was toast on the door. 200 for the door shell but it almost seems like he put reuse existing trim.

Adjuster seemed interested in the dash cam video. Only if I get my insurance involved and there is question of liability will that happen, but it is nice to have it. He was curious as to why I had one, like I had it for hooning and not for capturing incidents like this (I didn't have one in my 97 Cougar and the other driver could have changed her story and it would have been a hassle). My insurance took a hands off approach, which I guess I understand, but I would rather they deal with the other company. Pay my deductible then go after them and reimburse me once they deal with it.
