I spent today at the local pic a part preparing for my upcoming project spring/summer build. I came up with a nice little find. The pick a part that I go to rarely have Gen II's, and when I do stumble upon them, they've been violated already. There seems to be an abundance of 1st gens though. I saw some, those poor Marks they were trashed. Like a horse they were rode hard. I took some pics of them. Really bad shape.

This maroon 94 was in pretty decent shape, it showed all the signs of all the typical wear these cars get. The whole front suspension was all rotted, and the car had been converted over to Strutmasters springs. I grabbed those of course.:D

The springs cost me $108 with tax. Not a bad haul.
I then traveled to another pic a part a little closer to me, and I came across a Gen II. It was already picked clean of the lights and the rear neon:mad:. I missed that. But in my excitement, I forgot to take a pic of the car, but I ended up getting a front bumper cover for $50.00, intech alternator cover for $7.00, the other two covers that sit over the lights and the wiper bottle, I don't know what you call those pieces, but they were $7.00. I got two vents for $3.00 each, and the long piece that goes across the speedometer for $8.00. Pretty good day. Here's everything I got.

If you wanna sell those springs let me know. I met some folks this morning that have a 93 that needs one bad. I told them I'd try to locate them a used set.

Pretty good day, it looks like.
What else do you need?

I still need the front bumper support for the Gen2. I found one, but I ran out of time. I have to go back tomorrow.

Right now I going to hold on to them for my current project. I'll be going back all the time. If I see another set, I will get it.

hey go back and grab them headlights off that red one, i'll restore them!!!

Jamie, you want me to get those lights for you? I can get you about three pair. Can you work out something with me for some gen 2 housing with Torredor Red brows?

On that first mark the pieces of plastic that go from the front dash around the top side of the door. does the gen I piece fit the gen II piece. I have one that broke in half.

if you are talking abot that piece that fits on the dash just in front of the winshield, it should fit. You coming to pick it up?

I didn't get a chance to take some pics of the 97 I was getting parts from. I really hate that I missed out on the lights and the other stuff I need. The car was in pretty decent shape. I don't know why it ended up in the junk yard.

I went back to get the bumper support bar with HID ballasts, horn, transmission cooler, smog pump, styrofoam insert, and the bottom curb rub.

The junkyards here suck. the closest pick-n-pull is a mud pit that uses the rims to hold up the car.

No, that Mark was not a CFC car. The CFC cars are put in a different section, and they have yellow paint spread all over the motor, and CARS is on the windshield.

Sorry Rich, I'm still looking for that rear bumper. Everything has been 93's and 94's.
I have a 95 rear bumper cover just laying in the way in my driveway. Is that what you need Rich?
I need a 95 96 rear bumper cover... If he doesn't want it
gman--- the blue/blue , what condition were the front seat skins??? I need some really bad
I found another blue/blue in salvage in Austin, leather was fine, until the yard helper that removed the cross member for me chunked the air strut into the driver seat and ripped it

Blue/Blue? I don't think any of them were blue/blue. You should come down here for a day. They are adding new cars every week.
