98 transmission install on my 94

i just finished up my swap from 94 to 98 tranny.. 98 wiring harness wouldent work so i used my old harness... but im having a problem.. its shifting very high when i punch it.. at like 6.5-7k and when im driving slow it still shifts igh at about 3.5-4k.. is there something i have to do to make it shift better? Thanks for any help/ comments

That's because you need to re-pin the harness.

i just finished re-pin.. and now when in any gear it shakles bad and the o/d light flashes.?! now what did i mess up on...

You must have repinned it wrong. Check your repins.
