The Cobra intake is worth a half second on a Gen2 with full exhaust and bolt-ons. DLF has a great thread over on the LOD forum. Im on my phone, but I'll post the link when I get home unless someone beats me to it. Yes, a half second. That's no exxaggeration.
My best prior to intake swap: 14.1
DLF's best prior to intake swap: 14.0
My new best: 13.59
DLF's new best: 13.47
You do the math.![]()
me too car
I did not see anywhere close to those type of gains. And I did IMRC billet deletes and egr delete at the same time.
Maybe that's why he ran 13.21Ok, and why are you revving out to 7000 rpms? Just curious? That is beyond the powerband and pretty much at the point of valve float for the springs.

I raced a guy on the freeway, and we were both going about 75 and I beat him by a car up to 120. 98 with intake and exhaust. So ya I would believe that
He couldn't drive and you're an idiot for reviving this stupid-a$$ thread. I have track videos to prove that I ran a 13.59 and with much more done to my car than you brosef. Those Camaros run low 13s. I don't know how many times I have to tell you clowns that street racing doesn't justify jack chit. I learned that from first-hand experience. You might be king of the road until you hit the track and run mid 14s.![]()
