I have a 93. It has sat for several years with no issues relating to this. The carpet is wet under the right side, under glove box. Any ideas where these things leak after it rains? So much under there, no way to see where it would be coming in at.

Check the inside of the windshield to see if you find any signs of where water has been draining down from the top to the bottom of the glass. If you have recently just been starting it, it could be the heater core.

Since it is July, I'm sure this is happening while the AC is on. You may want to get under the car and check the drain whole. I suspect no water is dripping. That would be the cheapest fix. Unclog it by running a long wire brush or something up the line. If that does not fix the problem, the it is the much dreaded condenser box which is also behind the dash.

I'd look for a leak at the drain off the windshield first ... make sure everything is cleaned. Sometimes there can be a leak around where the cabin air is pulled in on the PS.

Then the damn Sun Roof ... guess what .... They love to leak .... mine came from rotted drain hoes .....

it is sitting, not being driven. I checked the sunroof drains. seems clear. It is not coolant nor from the ac. I will probably have to get in it, have my bride dowse it with the water hose and see if I can figure it out. Been sitting for 6 years and always dry, now wet in the last few weeks. damned, always something! thanks for all the ideas.

the sunroof drain hose connector where it attaches to the sunroof frame may have dry rotted and broke off.

I would bet the windshield is leaking at the top, just above the frame at the very top. My 94 was doing it until I found the leak and fixed it. Mine was on the pass side too and would get the floor wet if the rain was heavy enough.

be sure to check around the fresh air intake. remove the pass side of the wiper cowl and spray around the outside of the intake

I jacked up the rear of the car and now have the front lower than the back. Torrential rains came today and seems to be dry. It appears that the fresh air cowl under the wiper cowl is leaking at the back where it is not accessible. Figures. Going to have to remove it or get it sealed somehow.

i havent done mine but IIRC you can use a razor blade around the base to cut throught the sealer then remove it and reseal it

What sealer works well here? Any idea what the factory used? I am trying to keep totally stock and factory look.

I am aware that it is covered. I also admit that I am anal about this stuff. I desire it to be as perfect as I can make it. Thanks for all the help and ideas.
