That’s how long I have waited for HID's, half because I was poor the other have because I procrastinate. But I finally pulled the trigger last week and bought the "DFL" rings and DDM kit. As soon as they came on it gave me a little chubby, so sexy! Other items to fix coming soon....

I have had the housings in for a while, I'm just now getting the bulbs installed. I even got my HID"s in my town car too! :D

Thanks again to DFL!

Does any one know what size machine screw that hold the bulb in? Any one a have a few extra I can buy? I'm not going to admit whats holding them in right now.

Unless I'm wrong, it's a T-10 but I don't know the length or thread type. Phillips head would work just as good but don't wanna mess up and get the wrong size and crack the housing.

I spent 30 min at the hardware store trying different screws but nothing worked. I know they are roughly 7/16ths. I wonder if Ford carries just the screws.

Just checked ford doesnt even list them...poop

If you slapped a 5K or 6K kit in, you'd never look back again. You're able to see things at night in a whole new color. It took me a while to get used to it but I liked it from day 1. They're getting cheaper and cheaper.

lol from where I just came from to what they are now I feel like I am driving during the day...I almost hit a curb last week it was so bad. I did add some small halogen driving lights I picked up for $10...I installed them behind the front grill which has helped tremendously...they actually look cool at night the whole front end looks like one continous light from a distance.

Yeah,I really need to get the HID's myself.Along with new housings.Polishing them up didn't do nothing at all.Not good when there are a lot of dark streets here.

My bad, thanks DLF!

So I did some searching and I found that you (nolimit95) have your high beams and low beams on at the same time. I know something can be done with the multi switch, just haven't figured out what yet. Just wondering if you have any hints on this.

The MF switch mod should be done when you do HIDs anytime because it shortens the life of them from being turned on and off frequently. I know that this was a big issue with the factory HIDs because they were so expensive and rare. Factory HID equipped cars came wired so that the lows don't shut off when the highs are on. I would guess that some people dont care so much about doing the mod, because new HIDs are cheap and usually have a lifetime warranty. I have done the mod on my car... I do know that NoLimit and I have HIDs in the high and low beam position. This is great, but you lose flash to pass because the lights take a second to warm up/get bright.
