Those wheels are horrible and 22's don't belong on the LS.

Heavy, gaudy and wear down the suspension. And no tire and :q:q:q:qty ride. But hey whatever you like.

suggestions?

get rid/burn of the current rims, and NEVER get 22s for the LS...thats my suggestion.

J bear, i thought about that, the only thing that bothers me is the gap, i guess lowering it would remove that, but i wanted to change wheels anyway... Preciate your response!

... Any.........suggestions???

Yea. Put on classy wheels. Anything over 20" is far from classy. Most 20's aren't classy either. Stick to the Jaguar or Volvo 20's. Running 22" or larger wheels raises the car and makes it look stupid; like a 4X4.....

Black and Mlara, the wheels are gone, though ive had them 6 years strong with no scratches, dents, dings or bends, which is why i sold them close to what i paid retail for... Im from the south, trust me if u know anything about the rides here, these are in high demand... But just as the others, you opinion is appreciated!

LS4Me, nah homie, that pic is just stupid, but hey i didnt pay for it... I know how you guys all know bigger on the ls, and respect it, but its a better look for me, so thats what im going with... Not to mention, what i sold my 20's for i paid for my 22's twice!

I think youll find that alot of members frown upon oversized rims. As this is a "luxury car" most of us think that the biggest sized rim that should be put on an LS is a 20. Anything bigger takes away from the vehicle and begins to take away from the "classy" look a lot of us are going after.

I'd be prepared for negative comments if you do decide to go with 22's, but its your LS and your the one behind the wheel.

Thanks Frank, yeah i know and understand that, though im going bigger, i can appreciate a few cars on here that i think look nice going with a smaller rim... Pretty much, everything doesnt work for everybody!

Damn 20" aren't big enough for you?

Edit: What style 22" did you have in mind?

Suggestions: Get a nice set of 19s, lower it, get a LSE grille, color match the rear surround, and remove the fender vents. Other then that the car looks good and really clean.

I would probably work on your grill and loosing the fender vents. With your brand new paint job, you may not want to be sticking fender vents on it. Color matching the grill or getting a chrome Gen II grille will deff make it look better.

Edit: RodLS beat me to it.

How do u upload a profile pic?... Yeah im loosing the vents with paintjob, i just went with black ones because everyone else went with the chrome ones from Walmart... I'll prolly do the LSE conversion later on, the new wheels set me back a bit, and im also looking into doing the wood trim kit for the interior

Are you doing a custom paint job on it? The car looks really clean in the pictures. 22s are going to be a really stiff ride especially with the tiny sidewall on the tire you will need to make them fit. Plus, if you hit a pothole or something, there is the danger of damaging the rims/tires.

Its gonna be somewhat custom, a metallic black with pearl... I like that black on black, you have going. I started to paint mine that way but changed at the last minute. Yeah i understand the ride will be a bit stiffer, but riding 20's prepared me for that aswell as the pothole... Not being sarcastic, but i can drive from here to houston blindfolded and miss every hole now thanks to driving with those rims so im good there. I also have an extended warranty that will cover the car top to bottom with repairs if need be, ive been with them for years now with no issues

Going with a 245/30/22 tire? Definitely do yourself a favor and spend money on a good tire.

it depends... ive heard of a few going on with no problem, others have added spring boosters. So as of right now im not to sure, but ill do the boosters before i opt for cutting anything

yeah thats the size im going with and with the investment of these (non cheap a$$ wheels) i will definately wrap them in the best
