A few corrections......
The V8 doesn't give engine temp, just tells that the temp is OK
The trans isn't an "automated manual". It's a manually controlled automatic. The V8 and V6 transmissions are identical.
The V8 engine wasn't "debored". The difference is Lincoln uses iron cylinder liners and Jag uses Nikasil lining.
No D4, correct? I know the first person to get a calibration to open up D4 is going to be very, very popular!!

your right, the AJ30/AJ35 wasn't debored...it was destroked from 86 to 85 mm making the engine oversquare at 86 bore/85 stroke...the Jaguar mill it is based on is square at 86 bore/86 stroke

I could have sworn the 4.0 was debored down to 3.9L
