Yeah this isnt a good question without pics and info and known issues and price.

96 cars do have hard to find parts though and second Gen cars are WAY nicer inside and have much more comfertable seats and more features.

Normally I would say 96. But as mentioned, its a one-off year and certain parts are unique to that year only.

IMRC actuators
Transmission harness
Engine harness
VRCM (relay module)

To name a couple.

i voted for the 96, they have a point with the hard to find parts though, but thats getting like that for all gen 1's i would say the 96 cause of the low mileage, the other is a little steep, well for me anyways, up to you though, thats my .02

If the only thing different between the 2 is mileage(int/ext same cond), and the 97 is say a grand less i'd go with the 97. We need specifics on both cars.

they are both the same price for like $5000 o.b.o and the interior are in prestine condition but i have yet to go there and view for myself.

Both are overpriced but they look really nice. Btw, the black one is not a 96, it's a 97 or 98(gen2).

the same dealer has all 3 of these cars? dang.
i still say the black 2nd gen. the 96s are hard to get parts for. and that 96 isn't even a LSC.
