I sure didn't need the one I just bought, but for some reason I still have it.

I'll tell you what suckered me in though: The belief that IT AIN'T THE HEAD GASKET. It's the whole risk/reward thing. I'll take a chance because if it turns out to be a minor problem I just got a steal on a nice car that I can keep or sell, and if I'm wrong, oh well, it's still not a major loss. At that point it's either put in an engine, part it or junk it. I just think it's a good idea to know ahead of time what you will do with it should it turn out to really have a blown head gasket or some other major problem.

My problem is that my plan was to use mine as a parts car and then junk it if it needed an engine, but now that I know how rare Diamond Anniversary's are, I feel obligated to fix it either way.
