1995 Mark VIII Rear Diff fit into my 1998

What drive shaft you guys recommend?

93 shaft will work, some have vibration problems I have a 93 shaft with 4.10s and am good up to 100 mph.

I would do both at the same time and install a new fuel pump while the tank is out.

One wheel method FTW.

Makes install a snap.

Use Carpart.com to find a cheap shaft in your area.

** Didn't realize the tank needed to be removed in this process? Or are you saying drop the tank while it's there and replace the pump?**

Since you are swapping the pumpkin you can pull the drive shaft without dropping the gas tank. Be sure to get a new output shaft seal. I didnt and guess where my car is leaking from?

Really though since you are doing performance upgrades its a good idea to swap the fuel pump anyway. The stocker is barley adequate as is. Get a Focus pump.
