Installed and looking sexy. Btw my camera massively overexposed these pics making them look like some kind of blue fireballs.

I fuggin HATE cars with 12k's on them. All they do is blind other people and project less usable light for the driver then 6K would. Sure they look neat but in every other aspect they suck. They burn faster and melt housings.

I know it would've been more practical to use 8K's or something, but really this is mostly for the uniqueness. If I end up not liking them in the long run it will be pretty simple to put in some lower Kelvin HIDs. Also they're not really as blinding IRL as they seem in these pics. My camera overexposed them to hell.

From what I've experienced so far I can see pretty decently at night with them. They're slightly better for visibility than the stock HID's IMO. It would be much better with a more practical color though.

I tried 12,000K HID's in my low beams and they did have a ricey look but the main reason I swapped was because I was afraid of getting a ticket where I live. I went to 10,000K in the lows and now have 6000K in the lows and have always had 6000K in the high beams.

This was the 12K low beams only

12K's do not get any hotter than 6K, 10K. They do not blind anyone unless aimed up to do so. If you like the purple look, by all means, keep them in. Just make sure not to even mention it on here lol. Just asking for a bashing when you do. Why?, idk because you're the one driving it. So... if they're working out for you and you like the look, light'em up.

True it does look a bit ricey lol :D
At least this car can back it up though unlike those civics/accords I see all the time with 12k's and a fart can.

I agree. Always remember, if you show a pic of something on here and others have an opinion, you're going to get it lol. Might not be what you want to hear but it's all about what you like. You're the one driving it and you're right, it's not a ricer just because of some 12K bulbs. It's still a Mark VIII. I could go convert mine into an instant ricer if I wanted within 5 min and stick the 12K's back in but I feel like I'm asking for a ticket and plus, I do see better with the 6K. The 10K were bright too. Just for messing around today, I might throw the 12K's in the bright holes just to see what it looks like. I never use the brights anyway.

Take a good pic or two from inside your car at night. I'm curious about the light output of the Gen II compared to the Gen I with 12K's

I'll try to get some pics tonight showing what it looks like driving around in the car. Those pics I took last night are terrible.
