1.5 Lowered Kits available ONLY at American Air Suspension

"Rattling"? Thats a new one on me. The only problem I've ever heard of is if the rear spring is not centered, it may rub on the spring perch. I've never heard of a spring rattle before, as the tension would keep it from moving. I suspect something else was the problem.

Sooooo.... why do some of the other kits come with rubber inserts for the rear?

Oh, ok. Sorry, didn't realize it was already installed.

Listen guys, for those that were screaming to get one of these, you need to put your order in. I did some fancy persuading to make this happen and as of right now....I haven't got 1 single order for one of these.

Bad timing for me too. I already bought the standard kit from you about four months ago and was surprised the lowering kits were discontinued. I figured they would be big sellers. Why were they discontinued anyway?

From what I understand, there were too many problems with people complaining of tire rubbing when they had huge tires installed.

I was wanting to know if these kits come with anthing to keep the rear springs from rattleing? I see some kits for sale have rubbers for the rear springs included. I bought a kit for my 97 lsc 3 years ago or so (dont remember from where) but the rear springs in my car rattle like crazy! Agin thinking because it had no rubbers for the rear springs?

Any rattle I have ever heard was because of one or both upper shock mount rubber bushings were shot, loose, not mounted correctly.

The cost of the basic "standard height kit" is $389.

The "1.5 lowered kit" option is an additional $75...bringing the total for "parts" is $464.

Shipping, regardless of which kit you purchase is $60 anywhere in the 48 states.

Standard Height w/shipping =$449
Lowered Height w/shipping=$524

BTW, wouldn't NOW be a better time to sell the kit?....rather than when its installed and used?

Just curious why the Lowered kit is more expensive?

If I am running with 245/45/17's would there be any issues with rubbing?

i run 235/45/19's (offset 47, 8.5") with the lowered kit and dont rub..But before i modified the top of the inner fender liner it would hit the liner on big dips/bumps..

I thi8nk you'll be fine.

Anybody interested in a standard height kit I bought about 6 months ago from AAS?

Sorry, but I will only sell it as a full kit with everything I received.
