I've found 2 silver LSE's. 05 with 76K and an 06 with 82K. Both about the same price and both are clean as a whistle. Both are V8's. Which one would you guys go for?

Which ever one you like the most, which ever runs the best, which ever was best maintained, ...

In short, 05 and 06 are about the same in reliability and 6K miles difference is not noticeable.

Thanks for the advice. I really don't care for the 5 spoke 06 wheels. They don't seem as classy to me as the 05's

oh hell no! Still trolling...

but on the off chance you are being serious, I'll help you out. All else equal, get the 05. Still under coil warranty until 100k.

Please explain more about this coil warranty if you will.

If your coils fail before 10year 100k miles then ford will replace them for you. Normally they will only replace the ones that are failing at the time you take it in. But if your a good talker you can convince them to do them all because once they start to go the rest are sure to fail soon. But this warranty does not apply to the 06. So that's why if you buy the 05 you'll be covered

And I prefer the 06 just because it has the chrome grille with color matched surround , I like the look of the 06 bumper with the round fog lights, the 06 side skirts, and the painted license plate surround. Most of us change the stock wheels anyway so we don't really mind if we don't like the wheels that come on it. Depends on what you want though.

Think he said it was a lse..

Opps, skipped over reading that part.

Yea both basically the same then. The LSE does not have wood on the shifter or steering wheel, that's the only thing I didn't like about my LSE. I would choose the one that has most options best price

wpd I will give you your first Thanked post if/when you actually make a purchase (and surely tell us all about it)...

Wow that was hard to read

If both are LSE'esque, I'd go for the '05. You get the trunk lid spoiler, all red tails and everything else that's great about owning an LSE/'06 in addition to the coil warranty.

Cut him some slack, I think he's from the French part of Canada if I'm remembering correctly.

This is bitter sweet. I paid out of pocket last year to have them replaced due to ignorance. And I'm getting rough idle again after 16k miles. Any chance in getting reimbursed for last year along with getting new ones? Lol yea right huh

Get the 05 LSE. I think the wheels are nicer plus it has all red tails. Also it has less miles.
