Ahhh okay. Damn the US dollar is really dropping! I wonder if these are any better quality than the Deutche parts set. Guess I should just wait until I have enough to buy the full assemblies. But it sure would be nice to spend almost 500 dollars less. :)

Did anyone ever try these? Looks like the price went down to 60 pounds a pair? Not sure what that is in US Dollars. Will these fit a 2001 LS? Or am I going to have to bite the bullet and buy the full assembly?

Okay cool. Do you have a part number for the 2001 LS seal? I have only been able to find the 03-06 via searching the forum so far.

Well the hood to cowl seal was pretty compressed but seemed to be in tact so maybe it is the wiper seal? I will have to check that out. It is below the wiper? Do you have to take anything off to check the seal?

I was looking on rockauto, and all they had were the handles themselves does anyone know where they sell the plastic insert pieces that go over the handle and pop in with the tabs? Guess the junkyard might be a last resort but I was trying to find a place online that had them.

Got the part from rock auto and a tie rod end. Might tackle it this weekend. Is there a link Joegr to the index of the workshop manual you linked for the upper control arm? I want to see if there is one for the tie rod end and use it for future reference if I need to change something else Thanks

ahhh okay so u do have to remove the reservoir tank

This is on the drivers side btw... Probably gonna need to do the passenger before too long as well but the driver side i can yank on without jacking it and its loose and clunks cant do that with the passenger side but still looks old but not as bad

Can you get to it after taking the wheel off without taking anything else off?

Yeah, was almost there. Found a video on how to re-wind it, but it is not NEAR as easy as he makes it look. So pissed.
