So I searched the forum and the only link I found was for "generic" weatherseal

Will this fit the 2001 LS?

http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=2848884

Does anyone have any links to any exact fit for it?

I just had some of my coils and plugs replaced because there was water in there and dont wanna have to go through this anytime soon!

Anyone?

I think im gonna try this generic seal but not sure if it will work or not.

My last resort is to call the dealer and overpay for it but hoping someone had a link to a part site that has a seal that will work first.

Is there a part number so I can try to look it up on ford parts giant?

Any assistance would be appreciated

The seal kit from the dealer is really cheap. Someone posted about it a while back.

I thought the problem was due to a failed seal around the wiper arm hole not the hood to cowl seal?

That's my understanding. I think that the hood seal would only be an issue for engine fumes getting sucked into the AC intake. I wouldn't expect it to be a water issue. I assume that the OP's problem is really with the wiper seals.

Well the hood to cowl seal was pretty compressed but seemed to be in tact so maybe it is the wiper seal?

I will have to check that out. It is below the wiper? Do you have to take anything off to check the seal?

Sorry, no I don't. Seems like it should be the same for gen I though.

I'm going to pull it up and see what it looks like when I get a chance.

Figures, it rains today.
